Dr. Shannon B. Cerra

Dr. Shannon B. Cerra graduated from University of Florida in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Finance. In 2009, she received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Upon graduation, Dr. Cerra completed a General Practice Residency at the Pittsburgh Veteran’s Administration Hospital. Dr. Cerra is a general dentist treating all facets of dentistry including cosmetic, endodontic, crown and bridge, and implants.

Dr. Cerra enjoys traveling, music and her two dogs Boston Terrier “Coco Bean” and French Bulldog “Petunia Porkchop”.

Dr. Joseph Filippini

Dr. Joseph Filippini graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences and minors in Chemistry and Neuroscience. He completed his dental education at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2016 and graduated magna cum laude. He also received the honor of becoming a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society. Following dental school, Dr. Filippini went on to continue his education with a year of advanced training in a General Practice Residency at the Mountain Area Health Education Center in Asheville, NC. Dr. Filippini is a comprehensive general dentist capable of treating patients in the areas of cosmetic dentistry, crown and bridge, removable prostheses, endodontics, and implant restoration.

Dr. Filippini is originally from Buffalo, NY and has interests in traveling, playing soccer, snowboarding, hiking, and attending concerts. He aims to provide the highest quality of care and maintain a relaxing experience for his patients.

Dr. Clinton L Cable

Dr. Clinton L Cable earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Pittsburgh School Of Dental Medicine in 2003. Following dental school, Dr. Cable joined the US Army and completed a General Practice Residency at Ft Campbell, KY in 2004. Dr. Cable followed his passion for orthodontics and completed an orthodontic specialty residency at the Tri-Service Orthodontic Residency Program in San Antonio, Texas in 2009. Following 9 years of military service, Dr. Cable, a Western Pennsylvania native, decided to leave the Army to raise his two boys closer to family and friends. Dr. Cable offers orthodontic care to adults and children.

In his leisure time, Dr. Cable enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, camping, and fishing with his family. He is also an avid sports fan and has enjoyed returning to Pittsburgh to cheer on his favorite sports teams.

Dr. Kathy Lopez

Dr. Lopez graduated from Evangel University with her B.S. in Biology. Afterward, she attended the University of Pittsburgh where she earned her D.M.D. Upon graduation, Dr. Lopez attended a one-year General Practice Residency at UPMC Montefiore Hospital. Following her Residency, Dr. Lopez has spent the past ten years refining her dental craft throughout the state.

Continuing Education & Certifications

Dr. Lopez participates in continuing education classes and seminars, including certifications in Invisalign Clear Aligners and treating gum recession with The Pinhole Surgical Technique. She is currently receiving extensive implant replacement and restorative training through the Misch Implant Institute.

Lifestyle & Hobbies

Outside of the office, Dr. Lopez loves spending time with her two daughters and husband, Mario. She enjoys exploring the outdoors with her family, skiing, cooking, and traveling. Recently, she has picked up sewing and is learning how to golf. Dr. Lopez also teaches Sunday school at her church.

Dr. Trent Roberts

As a dentist, Dr. Roberts is committed to providing patients with elite-level service based on his ever-expanding knowledge and experience of the mechanics, biology, and esthetics of the oral cavity and related anatomy. Dr. Roberts received his B.S in biology and B.S. in chemistry from the University of Arkansas at Monticello in 2013. He graduated from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville, TN in 2020 with a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery.

He has had great experiences and practice with CAD/CAM dentistry, as well as with the evolution of digital technology and its evolving integration into modern dentistry. He is also a Member of the American Dental Association.

Outside of the office, Dr. Roberts loves being active outside and has spent many nights under the stars backpacking from the Appalachian Mountains to the sandbars of secluded streams. He has affinity for golf (sometimes), depending on how well he is hitting. As a child, he loved tinkering with Legos, and that passion has translated to building firearms as an adult. However, be mindful that he does not love buying ammo, although he is still a fan of Legos.

Dr. Roberts also considers himself a car enthusiast for many of the same reasons he loves dentistry. He enjoys spending an inordinate amount of time and patience tending the grill and indulging in Texas BBQ.
